About Department
A college with science as one of its faculty cannot be without the full-fledged Department of Physics. Physics department in the college therefore started since its inception with two faculties.
The Department got its affiliation with two sanctioned post for teaching up to B.Sc. The department also got sanction from Magadh University Bodh Gaya for post graduate teaching in 2014. From 2014 to 2019.
We produced five batches of M. Sc. (Physics). We offer two special papers to M. Sc. students, that is:
i.) Nuclear Physics
ii) Solid State Physics
We have well equipped lab for undergraduate as well as Post Graduate course. Apart from General lab we have, Dark Room for experiment related to light, Electricity lab and Electronics lab. We also have a Smart Board.
We have a full-fledged Seminar Library for both U.G and P. G sections with sufficient number of books.
We have two permanent faculties and an Adhoc teacher. We also have three lab technicians, two lab boy, store keeper and a librarian.
Lectures of our faculty are available on YouTube. One can search for the lectures on the YouTube by typing "Masroor lectures". These lectures are beneficial for students of B.Sc. Hons, and M. Sc. as well as to the Physics teachers and research scholars.
