About Department
The History department has been working since the establishment of the college. Prof. Md. Quaem joined the department of History in 1970 and Prof .Md. Unaib joined this department as a Lecturer in 1976. Both of them have been retired . Dr. Sarfraz Khan joined this college in 1984 as a lecturer and now working in the department in the capacity of Professor and Head of the department . Dr. Fazlur cfxRahman Khan joined this department in 2004 and still working in the capacity of Assoiciate Professor .Dr. Rizwan Alam Joined as a faculty member in August 2010 and still Working as an Assistant Professor (Adhoc) in the Department of History . In 2012, Dr. Shazia Jabeen Joined as a faculty member and still Working as an Assistant Professor (Adhoc) .Later in 2014 , Dr. Jugnu Jehan and Dr. Fahim Ahmad Khan Joined this department as a faculty members and still they are working , At present there are six teachersh1ggg who are taking up classes ranging up to degree and Post Graduate Levels , In 2014 Post Graduate classes in History has been introduced which is still continuing.
