Dr. Nagendra Das is currently working as Asstt. Professor in the Department of Geography, Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya since 12th September, 2012. Before joining at the Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya, Dr. N. Das has been awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship by UGC, New Delhi for the research work (entitled “Tourism and Economic Development in Bihar : A Geographical Study”) during his Ph.D programme under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Radhekant Prasad, University Professor, Ex. Joint Controller and present Registrar, M.U. Bodh Gaya. He has been engaged to teach the post graduate students and their academic activities during his Ph. D. There are 6 Articles published in the national and International Journals, and attended several national seminars/symposiums/workshops to present his research articles. He has promoted advanced Cartography (Remote Sensing and GIS) in the department to enhance the academic activities.
Dr. Das has completed DST-NRDMS refresher course/21 day training on Geospatial technologies at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi from 27th December, 2016 to 16th January, 2017 to enhance the academic activities and research in college.
